National Cycling Institute Milton (“NCIM”), a not-for-profit organization located at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre in Milton, Ontario, Canada, endeavors to keep your personal information secure, in compliance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.
Personal information is information recorded in any form about an identifiable individual, and may include your name, address, email address, telephone number, emergency contact information, payment card or other financial information, age, health or medical information, information about your cycling experience, training and progression, and other information about you and your participation in NCIM programs.

NCIM collects, uses and discloses personal information from and about you in order to respond to questions or requests; review and process applications for participation in NCIM programs or events or other transactions; design, operate, administer and offer NCIM programs or events; communicate with you about NCIM programs, events, policies, news, offers or other information relating to cycling; to maintain and manage our relationship with you; and to meet legal and regulatory obligations. In order to do so, NCIM directors, employees, agents, coaches, assistants, volunteers, commissaries, contractors, and subcontractors may have access to personal information.
NCIM does not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information about individuals under the age of majority in their jurisdiction without the consent of their parents or guardians. Where a minor is an NCIM program participant, NCIM may collect, use and disclose personal information about the participant and the parent or guardian, for the purposes described above.
NCIM may collect, use or disclose personal information without your knowledge or consent if an emergency threatens your or another individual’s life, health or personal safety; for the purposes of collecting a debt; to protect against fraud; to investigate a contravention of law or contract; to obtain legal advice; or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.
NCIM may share your personal information with other organizations whose mission is the advancement of cycling locally and/or nationally. NCIM may use your information to inform you of programs, products, services or other offers from third parties that may be relevant to you and your interest in cycling.
NCIM will never sell, trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any person, company or organization beyond what is set out above without your consent, except in the event of a sale or transfer of NCIM, a sale or transfer of all or substantially all of an NCIM business unit or the sale or transfer of an NCIM business unit’s assets.
NCIM or its service providers may process or store information outside of your jurisdiction, including through cloud-based services. In those circumstances, personal information may be accessible to law enforcement authorities outside of your jurisdiction, in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where information is processed or stored.
You can choose whether to provide and to withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information. However, in some cases a withdrawal of consent to the collection, use or disclosure of information that is essential to provide NCIM programs or services will limit or prevent NCIM from offering and providing certain programs or services.
