YOUTH TRACK CERTIFICATION
This program is designed for beginners or cyclists who have no experience with track cycling. Athletes will learn track cycling skills with the goal to complete certification A and B levels to become certified to ride the track. After certification is acquired, athletes will be challenged with additional skills to help them gain confidence, bike handling and the group riding skills necessary to move on to Youth Structured Training. Ages 10-18. Suggested rider minimum height 140cm tall. Bike rentals available free of charge. Rental bikes equipped with LOOK KEO, Shimano SPD-SL or Flat pedals. Kindly arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of class to facilitate bike rental set up.

ADULT TRACK CERTIFICATION Part A
This three hour course is the first part of a two-part program. Part A, together with Part B, the program is designed for beginners who have no experience with track cycling. Learn track cycling skills with the goal to complete certification A and B levels and become certified to ride the track. Coaches will assess each rider’s competence at the end of the program and determine whether certification is complete or if athletes need to take additional programs. Bike rentals available free of charge. Rental bikes equipped with LOOK KEO, Shimano SPD-SL or Flat pedals. Kindly arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of class to facilitate bike rental setup.
Prerequisites:
- Can ride a bike and must be fit enough to ride the track for 5 consecutive minutes.

ADULT TRACK CERTIFICATION Part B
This three hour course is the second part of a two-part program. Part B, together with Part A, this program is designed for athletes who have completed Part A or have track cycling experience at other velodromes. Athletes will add to their track cycling skills with the goal to complete certification and be able to ride the track. Coaches will assess each rider’s competence at the end of the program and determine whether certification is complete or if athletes need to take additional programs. Bike rentals available free of charge. Rental bikes equipped with LOOK KEO, Shimano SPD-SL or Flat pedals. Kindly arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of class to facilitate bike rental setup.

- Successful completion of Adult Track Certification Part A.
